Our Long Range Precision 1 (LRP-1) class was created Kenny Winn, our president and former Army Sniper instructor, to serve as the foundation for all long range rifle classes within the Heartland Precision Rifle class inventory.

Our Long Range Precision 1 (LRP-1) class was created Kenny Winn, our president and former Army Sniper instructor, to serve as the foundation for all long range rifle classes within the Heartland Precision Rifle class inventory. In LRP-1 we teach an attention to detail focused utilization of the fundamentals of marksmanship as the key learning objective of the class, and then help our students incorporate them into their shot sequence to achieve down range accuracy. We also provide an in-depth look at ballistics, atmospheric effects on a projectile, data book construction, and shooter / spotter team dynamics. After a little over 2 hours of instruction, our spotters will give you the data and wind calls to help you attain hits on steel at distances up to 1,000 yards.
*we "guarantee" to get you on target at 800 yards or we will bring you back at no cost during our next long range event, and we have yet to not deliver on this promise
Cost is $195 per student
* $180 for active or retired military, and current law enforcement
Students must show with the following;
- a platform chambered in .243 to .338
* no lever action or "Soviet" style rifles without prior coordination
- a minimum of 80 match grade rounds
- a reputable scope that has been properly mounted using a sturdy base and quality rings; *must have target turrets in either MIL or MOA adjustments
- eye and ear protection
- two sand socks / rear stabilization bags *contact if you need clarification
- bipod on front of rifle or a medium sized back pack stuffed with soft materials
- snacks and water to sustain you for a day on the range
* Contact us if you need a long-range platform or scope to run through the class on; no reason to miss out on training because you don't have the equipment

* We will send a packing list and welcome letter upon your registration
